Amina Akhtar is the editorial director of theFashionSpot. Prior to joining tFS, Amina launched The Cut blog for NYMag.com, and worked at Vogue, ELLE.com, and NYTimes.com. She counts Daphne Guinness and Isabella Blow as her style icons. She finds Absolutely Fabulous to be a bit too true to the mark and has a debilitating fondness for champagne.
Jennifer Davidson, Managing Editor
Jennifer Davidson is the Managing Editor of theFashionSpot and Co-founder of StyleBakery.com. Prior to joining tFS, Jennifer produced fashion segments for television and was a fashion stylist for television and red carpet events. Counting Diane von Furstenberg and Ali MacGraw circa 1970 as her style icons, Jennifer has a profound weakness for printed dresses and vintage Chanel jewelry.
Julie Bensman, Editor-at-Large
Julie Bensman is a New York-based editor, producer and host. She works with a wide range of fashion clients including Adidas by Stella McCartney, Elie Tahari and Gotham/Hamptons magazines, and writes for outlets including Teen Vogue and August Man . As Editor-at-Large for theFashionSpot, Julie covers red carpet events, produces and hosts video segments, brokers larger brand partnerships throughout the year and pens theFashionSpot’s weekly column, Closed Set. Originally from Chicago, Julie resides in Manhattan and spends her free time practicing yoga, pickling vegetables (Bensman’s Brines: coming soon!) and improving her badminton skills.
