Beauty Trend: Fuchsia Eyes

Nina Ricci is a prime example of this eyelid color blast that is both powerful and feminine.

World-renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath mixed fuchsia and deep red powder eyeshadows together to create a highly pigmented hue of pink that is not as severe as plain red, and not as dainty as blush pink.

This exotic mix is a boldly wonderful complement to the season’s bright and flashy clothes.

To get the Nina Ricci look, find a deep fuchsia matte powder eyeshadow (try MAC Eyeshadow in Louder, Pleaseand use it to blend onto the entire eyelid from lashes to brow bone, with a little bit lining the lower lash line.

Finish the look off with a coat of black mascara and black eyeliner on the inner rims.

For the runway, the models’ eyebrows were bleached so that the eyes stood out more, but in reality, it may be a better idea to skip this step and go natural.

The end result is like a classic smoky eye, but more tropical. It’s a different look, but one worth trying out.

Other great eyeshadows that will accomplish this look are MAKE UP FOR EVER Eyeshadow in Neon Pink, mixed with MAKE UP FOR EVER Eyeshadow in Matte Cold Red.
