So how would you interpret the coming Spring/Summer looks? What would inspire, excite you and make you want to dress up and go out? In an effort to share, here is a little peek backstage during New York Fashion Week.
I kicked off my NYFW with the Prabal Gurung show. Knowing Prabal personally I'm always excited to see what he's come up with. As usual, the very inspired designer delivers, but this time with a delicate and dreamy collection that manages to be bold and hot at once! The indomitable makeup artist/beauty icon Charlotte Tilbury created the look for the show blending a rousing dichotomy, ethereal and seductive.
Glowing, shimmering skin gently contoured, untouched brows and lashes, a beautiful melange of light pearl pink and whispering grey shadows shape and illumine the eyes. To finish this fairy-like face is the bold wild orchid lip, black at the center blooming into a redolent crimson.
All this is, of course, possible because of the sponsorship of MAC Cosmetics, making dreams come true yet again! Lip mix, strobe cream and new eyeshadows available at maccosmetics.com.
The result is evident! What world does it transport you to? What can you become through this dream?
