Who: Emily Blunt
Where: Opening Night of the Palm Springs International Film Festival
Why we like it: Celebrities at festivals often have the best beauty looks. There's less pressure than a traditional premiere so they tend to take more chances. Here, Emily Blunt has taken a very minimal look, with a bold lip and dewy skin, and dressed it up with a glitter eyeliner and some false lashes.
How to get it at home: Start with a velvet finish foundation, such as By Terry's Sheer Expert $65, and buff it into the skin. If you have any blemishes or areas of pigmentation, apply a creamy concealer but don't powder unless you have to. You want to keep this look dewy and fresh. Lightly dust NARS' Blush in Orgasm $27 on the apples of the cheeks but keep the color very subtle. Shape and define your brows with Benefit's Brow Zings $30 by first applying the tinted wax and setting with the included powder. Using Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil in Lit $20, apply a small amount onto the eyelid and blend well up to the crease then draw a hard line across the lashline on the upper and lower lashes. Curl your eyelashes and then apply Hourglass' Film Noir Full Spectrum Mascara $28. After your mascara, apply MAC #20 Lashes $15, which are half lashes that will give you Emily's cat eye, to the outer corners of your eyes. Finish off your look with Illamasqua's Lipstick in Drench $22.
