Get the Look: Emma Stone’s Oscar Makeup

Want to try her look? Here’s how you can recreate it:

  • Start by using a neutral-colored cream shadow as a base and cover your entire lid. This will bring out the boldest color and will help shadow stay put for longer. We like Clinique’s Lid Smoothie Eye Colour ($20 at Macy’s) which is also packed with antioxidants.
  • Select a frosty white shade, like Urban Decay Polyester Bride ($17 at Sephora), and dust it lightly beneath your brows using a soft, fluffy brush.
  • Next, take a ballerina pink with a hint of shimmer—Stone used Revlon Colorstay Goddess Quad ($6 at Target)—and begin dabbing it on your lids all the way to your brow bone. Don’t be afraid to use a lot of color on the lid, but when you reach your brow bone go lightly. Then spread the color all the way up to your brows, lightly covering the white shadow, around to your tear ducts and a little beneath your lower lash line.
  • Pink is a hard color to pull off on your eyes; the way Stone made it work was by adding a solid, contrasting black line. The last step is to apply liquid liner to your top lid, creating a thick line and adding a “wing” that reaches your browbone. For an even bolder look, add black liner to the inside of your lower lid.

Keep the rest of your makeup simple, adding a little blush to your cheekbones and pairing it with a berry-colored lip stain. Steer clear of gloss and let your eyes be the main feature.
