When it came to the L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival catwalks, all eyes were on the dramatic clothing, but backstage it was all about beauty. Here are our favourite looks created by L'Oréal Paris Makeup Director Rae Morris. The best part? You don't have to wait to try them on.
60s Lashes
Rae Morris created this look for the theatrical collections of L’Oreal Paris Runway 7. A bit of highlighter kept the skin fresh and dewy, but where mascara was concerned, more was more. Even the bottom lashes got at least one coat, while lips were finished with an Edie Sedgwick-esque light pink lipstick.

High Drama Minimalism
The prominent Australian designers on L'Oréal Paris Runway 6 are renowned for both high drama and statement minimalism, and this beauty look managed to embody both. Eyes and lips both demanded attention, but skin was kept bare and lashes given only one quick swipe of mascara.

Understated Glamour
Fresh and ethereal, this is how all women dream of appearing when they wake up in the morning. Skin was perfectly porcelain and even lips got a dab of foundation, while eyes were appointed only a smudge of bronze in the upper corner.

Color Clashing
From the My First Makeup Palette to the catwalk, metallic pink eyeshadow made a comeback on L’Oreal Paris Runway 2. Not only did colors clash but so did textures, with eyes offset by glossy red lips. Black mascara and Bladerunner-inspired hair completed this striking look.

Contemporary Cat Eyes
One of the most memorable beauty looks of LMFF was the daring beauty look that complemented Alex Perry’s high-glamour collection. Underneath bold eyebrows models sported classic yet contemporary cat eyes in smoky midnight blue, with a line of light gold applied above.
