Who: Audrey Tautou
Where: The Toronto International Film Festival Premiere of Therese Desqueyroux
Why we like it: Now that we're getting into fall, it's time to think of ways to transition your makeup routine for the colder weather. This simple shaded look is perfect for day or night and won't feel too heavy after monrths of tinted moisturizers and balm stains.
How to get it at home: Start with a foundation that is sheer and skin-like for the most bare-faced finish. Try Dior's Diorskin Nude Skin Glowing Makeup SPF15, $48, which offers coverage that allows the skin's natural texture to show through. Apply a natural rosy blush, such as Guerlain's Rose aux Joues in Chic Pink, $50, on to the apples of the cheeks, and take a small brush and run a bit through the crease of your eyes. This will give some definition without a strong eye contour.
Next, apply a brow gel, such as Make Up For Ever's Aqua Brow, $20, through the brows to define and fill in any gaps. With this look, you want to keep your eyes looking natual yet defined, try a creamy pencil, such as Too Faced Perfect Eyes Waterpoof Eyeliner, $18. Apply it starting at the middle of your eye and blend towards the edge. This will give a softer finish but keep some definition. Finish off your eyes with Lancome's Hypnose Star Mascara, $28, which adds curl and volume for a fluttery lash that's not spidery. To get Audrey's rich red lip, try Make Up For Ever's Aqua Rouge in Iconic Red, $24, which gives a stain-like finish with a lasting gloss.
