In the cooler months, we need to keep an arsenal of beauty products out of pure necessity as dry heat and cold temps can wreak havoc on skin, hair and nails. But spring, glorious spring, allows us to have a little more fun picking up new-to-market finds that just make use feel happy and pampered. With the new buds and fresh green grasses, it’s no wonder that spring also brings the prettiest colors and most interesting scents on beauty shelves, too. Without further ado, here are five of our must-wants that will surely become must-haves and take a prominent place on our bathroom vanity counters and makeup bags.
Drew Barrymore's makeup line sold at Walmart translates to "little flowers" in English. It's not surprising since she's been a strong advocate of nature's adornment for quite some time. We love that she's putting her name on something that's as affordable as it is adorable. And who wouldn't love a three-in-one buy? We do, for sure. Three different tri-color lip tubes are available this spring!

Lanvin is releasing a totally brand new scent for April simply called "Me." Nordstrom has the inside track on selling the scented body lotion that boasts an infusion of this brand new perfume. Word is that it's a mix of black licorice, tuberose and blueberries. Makes us think of summer nights under the stars. Or hot summer days. Either way, this is our go-to lotion for SS13.

More blueberries? Yes. Think of it as your signature fruit for the season. These'll remove makeup, cleanse, moisturize and brighten your complexion, getting ready for bed or prepping your face for a new, totally wow makeup moment. It's like a fruit basket for your face since it also includes coconut, lemon peel and apple. Did we mention it's hypoallergenic and 99% natural too? These are definitely going in our summer vacay bags. Those of us lucky enough to fly far, far away will be keeping them in our carry-on to combat dry cabin skin.

Another perfect candidate for travel is this gorgeous red tube that contains not one, not two, but a full brush set for all of your makeup needs. I don't know about you, but I can never find the brush I need when I want it, and I have to go digging around the dreaded makeup drawer to find it. I can't wait to have my brushes all in one place!

Mix and Sniff
I have this fantasy about becoming a perfumier hobbyist. You know, someone that buys essential oils from Amazon and mixes up signature scents that smell amazing and are totally unique. This is going to get me one step closer. Three scents in one box with permission to mix and match them in as many combinations as you can come up with. There's white tea & jasmine, mandarin & honeyed rose and linden blossom & Japanese loquat.
