From the Heidi crown, both perfectly coifed and messily done at Alice + Olivia, to Tadashi Shoji’s outrageous bedhead braid, there were so many styles on display, it was hard to pick just one to emulate. That’s why we picked a handful of faves for your viewing pleasure. (It helps to see the front of the ‘do as well as the back, so we’ve provided that too, where appropriate.)
Try a slick finger wave with a low braided bun a la Naeem Khan‘s girls. Or go for a faux undercut look with a French braid keeping half of your hair back while the other lays long, shiny and slick down your other side. If you’re a classicist, Valentino offered a simple long braid worn with a headband, thrown over the shoulder. Whatever you’re drawn to, braids are the updo of the season without a doubt.
