Get Kate Bosworth’s Petal Pink Beauty Look at Home

Who: Kate Bosworth

Where: Van Cleef & Arpels’ South Coast Plaza Boutique Redesign Celebration

Why we like it: As we watch with bated breath for the fall trends to walk down the runway this month, we think this look on Kate is a reminder that it doesn’t have to be daring to be remarkable. We love the palette of petal pinks and her cleanly defined eyes (heterochromia not included).

How to get it at home: Prep the skin with a radiant base, such as Dior’s Capture Totale Dream Skin ($110), which will smooth and perfect your skin for makeup. Next, go in with a foundation that leaves a radiant satiny finish, such as Buxom’s Show Some Skin Weightless Foundation ($34), blending it well from the center of the face outwards. Then add some warmth to the cheeks using Tarte’s Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride ($30). Using a stain or cream blush is key for this look because you want to match the texture of the blush to your base.

To get Kate’s defined brows, add definition or color with a brow powder, then seal the look with Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Beauty Genius Clear Waterproofing Gel ($18), which will give you that brushed-up look. Define the upper lash line with the dark end of Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Double Ended Eye Pencil in Naked Basics ($16) and smudge into the lid, then add highlights with the light end of the pencil. Top off your eyes with a coat of lengthening mascara, such as Clinique’s High Impact Waterproof Mascara ($16), on the top and bottom lashes and finish your look with a coat of Bite Beauty’s Cashmere Lip Cream in Napa ($28)
