Well, fashion month is truly underway and we're so flush with inspiration that it's hard to imagine how it can get any better. This past week we've seen everything from liquid metal lips to nearly naked skin, but there were a few looks that truly stood out. Here are a few of our favorites from the past week.
We're always looking for eyeliner inspiration, and this past week was full of it. This look is perfect if you're looking to transition your beauty look from day to night. A quick slick of kohl on the lower lash line can completely transform a neutral face.
One of the best parts of NYFW is seeing looks that we can actually wear. Crazy runway looks are lovely, but it's looks like this simple shaded eye that almost always make it into our routines. Perfect for work or a summer date.
We think this is a perfect winter look. The eyes are subtly defined, but the standout feature is the cheek. A warm blush can transform your skin and we think this is the perfect makeup look to combat dull winter skin.
We often associate a winged liner look with the clean, retro lines. We love this smudged version that is soft on the lid, but still sharp at the edge.
Ombre lips have fallen out of fashion, most likely because they're near impossible to maintain in real life, but this subtle ombre makes the lips appear full and pillowy.
Say it with me: no brows, no problem! We love this look, not for it's alien-esque brows, but instead the expert contouring that gives it a true edge.
We saw a lot of side-swept locks this week, but few were as wearable as this one. We are also in love with the pin as an accessory.
Much has been said about the fairytale lips at this show, but we're more interested in the rusty, shadowy eye. Taking it all the way to the brow might be a bit too much, but this is a fantastic smoky eye alternative.
We love the idea of taking one tone and sticking with it for the whole look. This golden nude look is perfect for work or play.
New York is always full of wearable looks, but we like to bump it up a bit. This dark lip might have to wait until fall comes, though you could wear it now while it's cold, but it's a great look to keep on the back burner.
