Beauty Report: Bronzed Eyes Shine at Emilia Wickstead Fall 2014

Sometimes the simplest looks are the most striking. We love this smudged out bronze eye from Emilia Wickstead because it’s just a bit off. With a more traditional smoky eye, the shadow is almost always anchored by liner but in this look the bronze really takes the spotlight. The team at Max Factor used the Wild Shadow Pot in Auburn Envy across the lid and around the lash line to get this look. Paired with perfected skin, using the brand’s CC (color correction) sticks, brushed up brows, and a warm blush, this look is great if you’re looking to mix up your everyday makeup. If you’re looking get this look at home, you can increase the payoff of a metallic shadow such as this by applying it with a wet brush. You will immediately see a much stronger color but always make sure to have a fluffy dry brush at the ready to blend out the edges.
