Beauty Report: Party Ready Smoky Eyes at Roberto Cavalli Fall 2014

It’s no secret that Roberto Cavalli loves a smoky eyed party girl and this season was no different, but instead of the usual groomed and polished look, this season’s girl was a bit rougher around the edges. MAC’s Diane Kendal kept the focus on the eyes by blending a mixture of black and brown liners into a dramatic wing, and sharp inner point, but kept the edges soft and blended out. We love the use of brown, a wholly underused color in smoky eyes, instead of dark grey or charcoal. This style is perfect for a girl who doesn’t want to look too put together but still dressed up. The look was finished off with a soft peach lip that, in spite of being subtle, perfectly balances this night-out ready look.
