As we round the European bend toward Paris, we're forced to look back at the penultimate week and must say that this season has been killer in terms of fresh new looks, reworked classics and ready-to-wear faces. With that said, there were ups and downs in Milan, but here are a few of the looks that have made a real impact this past week.
Morning-After Girls at Missoni
Many makeup artists have tried to capture that morning-after look, but we think this one is the best. We love the clean and fresh inner eye as well as the smudged outer half. In fact, we love it so much, we might just try it on our next night out.
Clumpy Lashes at Prada
Prada is one of those brands that screams irreverence and this look is proof. Will we all be rocking painted, clowny lashes come fall? Probably not, but that doesn't stop us from loving them here.
Criss-Cross Fendi Hair
This look may be more work than it's worth, but, boy, is it ever pretty. We love the slick, clean lines and minimalist shape.
Fairytale Hair at Dolce & Gabbana
Updos are often high-maintenance looks that are complicated to do and finicky to wear, but we love this intricate yet messy ballet bun that's perfect for day or night.
Barbie Girls at Versace
Mannequin beauty is a trend that's been swept away over the past few seasons, but this look is a nice reminder that sometimes flawless skin and a nude lip can really make an impact.
Nice and Natural Jil Sander
It wouldn't be Milan without at least one striking natural look. We love this one because of its prim and polished finish. This is "no-makeup" makeup at its best.
