Spring’s best minimalist hair inspiration came from the Celine Spring 2015 runway. Ever since we saw how Guido Palau elevated such a simple half-up hairstyle with an equally simple gold circle clip in September, we couldn’t wait to wear the look. To be honest, nobody does less-is-more better than Celine, so it came as no surprise that the effortless approach extended to the hairstyle worn by the models. The hair accessory echoed the circular cut-outs in the clothing and the hardware details on the bags and belts seen at the spring show.
We spotted a similar gold clip at ASOS for under $15 and another at Nordstrom. To recreate the chic style, we’re taking a page from Guido’s book and using Redken’s Pillow Proof Blow Dry Two Day Extender and Wind Blown 05 Dry Finishing Spray to perfect cool, French girl texture in our hair. The final look is simple, polished and sophisticated — ideal for bad hair days or when time is of the essence.
