Short haircuts and sleek updos dominated the red carpet at the 2016 Grammys. Our favorite celebrities from Beyonce to Taylor Swift were surprisingly demure — when it came to their hairstyles at least. Even their makeup skewed subtle as nude lips and clean, fresh faces ruled supreme. We did get a jolt of excitement by way of David Bowie, though. Both Lady Gaga and Zendaya paid tribute to the late icon with mesmerizing looks that everyone couldn’t stop talking about.
