Four cities times hundreds of presentations and runway shows equals a bounty of clothes and lots of beauty looks from the Spring 2019 shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris. While there may not be quite as many makeup, hair and nail looks as there are outfits, you won’t feel like you’re missing anything because there are almost enough fresh beauty ideas to keep you going from now until it’s actually spring.
There were some clear trends that emerged right away, from neon makeup to dewy skin to statement hair accessories — with particular affection being shown toward flower and nature-inspired pieces. There were still plenty of gorgeous surprises that kept things exciting and our list of the best beauty moments from the shows reflects this. Because beauty is all about having fun and being experimental, right?

Rodarte
This New York Fashion Week show is a top contender for the boldest and most memorable beauty look of fashion month. It also wins for encapsulating lots of key trends: floral hair accessories, red lipstick, neon eyeshadow and bold applications.

Marc Jacobs
Jacobs and Redken Global Color Creative Director Josh Wood single-handedly made faded pastels the new unicorn hair. The hair genius bleached and colored all the models' hair different muted candy colors that coordinated with the clothes. Makeup also matched the new hair for a vintage-toned finish.

Halpern
Halpern provided a glam interpretation of 60s-inspired beauty by decorating eyes with megawatt sparkle and the classic crease eyeliner.

Christian Dior
Christian Dior gave gym headbands a chic update with logo double bands that coordinated with the strappy outfits. As for the eye makeup, makeup artist Peter Philips was inspired by the free-form makeup worn by Sharon Eyal, the choreographer of the runway-show-cum-dance-performance. Eyeliner was applied in random strokes to give a lived-in, face tattoo effect.

Tom Ford
The smoky eyes and neutral lips at Tom Ford oozed sensuality, but it was the chic neutral hair scarves (pale pink, taupe, camel, black) that caught our attention. Hairstylist Orlando Pita tied the scarves to frame low buns.

Rochas
Every season needs at least one fabulous new take on the cat eye and Rochas gave us a clever, floating, negative space version paired with a natural face.

Manish Arora
Never one to go for a basic beauty look, the models at Manish Arora donned electric face paint, which was one part Ziggy Stardust, one part neon lights. Hairstyles cleverly echoed the wavy lines of the makeup.

Moschino
The Moschino beauty look may not have been as whimsical as some may have been expecting, but we're all for the neutral 90s supermodel makeup, sleek hair and diagonal squiggle nails.

Jour/Né
The show was an ode to the versatility of the black headband. It proved there are multiple looks for everyone regardless of hair type and length. Get inspired.

Giorgio Armani
Models at Giorgio Armani proved that red lipstick and flicked eyeliner are not the only romantic makeup looks. Each girl wore sheeny shades of pink and berry that were chosen to enhance their coloring.

Guy Laroche
The Guy Laroche show had neon makeup in almost every form, including colored eyebrows, eyeshadow, liner and lipstick. There were unique takes from yellow lipstick to royal blue brows. Some of the prettiest and more wearable options were the mod Creamsicle eyeshadow and bolder orange eyeliner.

Byblos
The unicorn vibes were strong at Byblos with certain models donning holographic fringed headpieces. Eyes and brows were decorated with electric shades, from juicy orange to punchy teal.

Emilia Wickstead
If you think hair bows can't be worn beyond a certain age, take a look at Emilia Wickstead's supremely elegant bow-topped ponytails paired with the faintest wash of rose on the face.

Anna Sui
Makeup wizard Pat McGrath decorated select models' faces with a watercolor yellow, orange and pink gradient that evoked the prettiest sunset and showed the yellow eyeshadow trend isn't going away.

Alberto Zambelli
Those who thought yellow blush was nothing but a short-lived Instagram trend will reconsider the look thanks to Alberto Zambelli's golden yellow-orange eyes and blush.

Jeremy Scott
Models at Jeremy Scott gave us major metallic lip inspo with their foiled pouts created by makeup artist Kabuki. The megawatt lips were created using custom metallic material topped with glitter.

Dries Van Noten
Hairstylist Sam McKnight created individual feathered hairpieces for each of the models. Some wore full feathered caps, while others wore clusters seamlessly blended into wispy hairstyles. The uneven bangs echoed the textured hair accessories and the coordinating eye makeup brought plenty of drama.

Shimmer was sprinkled everywhere at Simone Rocha with a smattering of sparkles on the eyes and in the highly decorative headbands. Plan your party season look accordingly.

Ryan Lo
The beauty look at Ryan Lo ticked off the classic red lip and hair accessory trends that are huge for Spring 2019. It also gave us a designer version of Snow White with the glitter-trimmed hair bows and lacquered lips.

Antonio Marras
Antonio Marras reimagined the beloved butterfly clips of the 90s into a gold, life-size design. The hair accessories were "perched" on top of modern half-victory roll hairstyles. A wash of sun-soaked orange on the eyes added to the nature theme.

Kelly green is becoming one of fashion's favorite colors and it's coming for makeup if the eyeliner at Cividini is any indication.

A.F. Vandevorst
The makeup at A.F. Vandevorst gave the impression of models' faces being swept up into the clouds. Remember this dreamy look for festival season.

Give those space buns a break and try these looped pigtails. They put less strain on the scalp and require minimal effort. Take a cue from the runway and pair with a natural makeup look.

Kate Spade New York
The dusting of gold glitter lighting up eyes was sweet, but it was the sentiment behind it that made it all the more meaningful. The entire collection, beauty look and all, paid tribute to the idea that the late founder "left a little sparkle everywhere she went."

Two of our favorite things, glitter and eyeliner flicks, came together for a showstopping look. Models wore supersized gradient flicks of red or blue glitter that extended almost to the hairline. The sleek hair showed the statement eyes off to full effect.

Forget about matching lips and tips. Marta Jakubowski's London Fashion Week show promoted bold contrasts, from orchid purple lips and red, jelly-like nails to neon pink lips and the palest green tips.
