Beauty Look of the Week: Emma Stone

Who: Emma Stone

Where: The world premiere of Crazy, Stupid, Love

Why we like it: It’s no secret that we think Emma Stone is one of the best dressed young actors right now but her beauty look here stands out amongst the rest. It perfectly walks the line between safe and experimental with her berry toned lips and petal-pink eye shadow. Paired with sleek and shiny hair, this look is a great modernization of her 60s style beauty looks we’ve seen before.

How to get it at home: To get this smooth, retro hairstyle, apply a styling cream such as KeratinPerfect’s PerfectSmooth Blowout Booster Styling Cream $34 and blow dry your hair with a large round brush. To finish, lightly mist your hair with a spray such as Bumble and bumble’s Let It Shine On (and on…) Finishing Spray $25 to get that overall glossy effect.

To get Emma’s flawless face, apply primer, foundation, and concealer as usual. A cream or gel blush works best to get her subtle flush so use a small amount of a product such as Benefit’s Benetint $29. To maintain a flawless finish all night long, dust your face with Make Up For Ever’s HD Microfinish Powder $30, which is a translucent finishing powder that mattifies the skin and evens out any remaining imperfections not covered by concealer.

While the pigment may be high in Emma’s eye shadow, the color is very smooth and even. To get this look, apply a cream eye shadow such as Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Cream in Peach $22. It has reflective properties that will highlight the area and the cream formula will last as long as you need it to. To finish the retro 60s look, apply gel liner such as Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink $21 along the top of your lash line and finish with your favorite mascara. Lastly, to get that standout berry lip, apply Dior’s Dior Addict Lipstick in Show 778 $28
