Who: Malin Ackerman

Where: The Wanderlust World Premiere

Why we like it: The grass is always greener, especially when it comes to hair, but here, Malin Ackerman shows us that even if you have long hair, that doesn't mean you can't style it into a flirty, wavy bob.

How to get it at home: How you make your faux bob depends on how long your hair is. For women with medium length hair, it could simply be the case of pinning it up and under and allowing a few pieces to hang looser. With a style such as this, it's better to start with dirty, but not greasy hair. This will give the look more natural texture and give all the pins something to hold onto. For women with longer hair, separate it into two main sections: above the crown and below. If you want a texture like Malin's, spray your hair with a texturizing spray such as Bumble and bumble's Surf Spray $24, then put in some hot rollers in the top half for a soft curl. This can easily be done with a curling iron as well if you don't have hot rollers.

Next, take the bottom half and separate it into two low ponytails. if you have a lot of hair, you may even want to try three. There are two schools of thought on how to make that length disappear. The easiest is to make very small, and flat, buns and pin them to your head. This not only allows you to hide the hair, but it also gives you a solid base to pin your curls to. The other option is to curl the ends of those ponytails and clip them up with flat, duck-bill clips. This option works best if you feel you need more volume or you think the top half of your hair isn't enough to cover the buns. Once the base is taken care of, take out your rollers and run your fingers through the curls. Spray with a holding hairspray such as Living Proof's Hold Firm Hairspray $14 and pin sections up and in until you have the perfect faux-bob.
