Budget Beauty: Get Kristen Stewart’s Film Festival Look for Just $50

Where: The Toronto International Film Festival Premiere of On The Road

Why we like it: With celebrity makeup artists, the sky is the limit. No product is too expensive and no treatment our of their reach. Unfortunately, most of us don’t have that luxury but that doesn’t mean we can’t get the look, too. Here we’ll show you how to get this fresh-faced look for just $50.

How to get it at home: If you’re going to invest in one element of your makeup, make it the base. Nothing gives a cheap look away faster than cakey foundation. Keep within the drugstore family of brands, we suggest Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation, $18.95. This gel formula is very similar to Chanel’s cult foundations (hint: they’re owned by the same company) and gives a radiant, finish without the big price tag.

To get Kristen’s defined brows, try Rimmel London’s Professional Eyebrow Pencil, $3.19. Use the attached brush to run through your brows when you’re finished. This will help break up and distribute the product for a more natural texture. Kristen’s simple taupe eye has just enough shimmer to make it evening appropriate but is very low maintenance. To get it at home, try using Revlon’s Illuminance Crème Shadow in Not Just Nudes, $4.94. Use the lighter colour as a base and run one of the darker browns (depending on your skin tone) along the crease and under the lower lash line for definition. Finish off your eyes with a coat of Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Mascara, $8.49.

Kristen’s cheek color is very subtle, so try NYX’s Powder Blush in Dusty Rose, $5.99, to get the look. This product will add a touch of color but will not overwhelm the face. Finish off your look with Revlon’s Color Stay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten, $8.99, which will give you Kirsten’s bold lip color with the added bonus of wearability and moisture.

Total cost: $50.55
