Why we like it: Kerry has become a bit of a beauty star over the past few months and this look is no different. It’s bold and statement-making without looking forced or uncomfortable. Perfect for an after-work drinks date.
How to get it at home: Start with a matte or demi-matte finish foundation, such as BECCA’ s Perfect Skin Mineral Powder Foundation, $40, blending well with a sponge or dense buffing brush. Then go in with a warm coral-toned pink blush, such as Kat Von D’s Everlasting Face Shaper Blush in Por Vida, $25, focusing the color on the upper part of the apple of the cheek.
This look is dependant on great brows to frame the face. Try using a multi-tonal powder set, such as Anastasia’s Brow Powder Duo, $22. Use the lighter color to plot the shape and add dimension using the darker shade and an angled brush. Taking the Tarte Beauty & The Box Amazonian Clay Eye Shadow Quad in Secret Garden, $22, blend the medium toned brown and the darker brown across the lid. Line your eyes with a pen liner, such as Smashbox’s Love Me Paint Pen Eye Liner, $24. A tip for using pen shaped liners: try holding the tip parallel to the lash line, rather than perpendicular. This will give you more control and a smoother line. Finish off the eyes with Clinique’s High Impact Extreme Waterproof Mascara, $16, in black.
