Kim will be making the long flight down under to meet and greet her fans, but to get up close to the one and only you’ll have to make a Kardashian Kollection purchase between August 26 and September 13. You’ll also get a signed photo to hang up on your wall, but only if you’re one of the first 200 devotees in line.

Take that as a warning to be there well before she arrives at 2.30pm. And please, for the love of god, don’t forget your receipt. We’d hate for you to miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Model Stephanie Smith Defends Choice to Eat Meat with a Social Media Rant

20-year-old social-media-sensation and model Stephanie Smith has apparently been copping a lot of flak about her diet, because today she decided to tell her 439K+ Instagram followers why she chooses to eat meat.

“I eat meat because I love the taste and the way it makes me feel,” she wrote to her Instagram. “I’m sorry but it’s the circle of life.” Stephanie, who has modelled for the likes of Seafolly and Dotti, then went on to pull out the oldest meat-eater excuse in the book. “There will always be more meat eaters out there than vegetarians, so that raw steak will be sitting in the supermarket for sale whether I eat it or somebody else eats it.”

She’s a bit sick of people giving her grief about her choice to eat animals, writing, “Stop giving me crap about my decision to eat meat because just like anyone else, it’s up to me what I want to do.” We got your back, Stephanie. Just because you’re in the public eye you shouldn’t have to give anything up — meat included. Plus, you’ve got a bangin’ bod, so whatever you’re eating is doing a darn good job.

To read the entire rant, head over to Stephanie’s post here. She also talks about her boyfriend and her eyebrows, with a complimentary video which you can watch below.

Kardashians About to Launch New Hairstyling Range and Reveal Haircare Secrets

The Kardashian sisters announced a few weeks ago plans to expand their Kardashian Beauty range with a new line of hairstyling tools and products in partnership with Farouk Systems. When the reality sisters stamp their name on anything, it’s bound to make money and their new line is expected to rake in quite a lot of dough. Understandable, considering the Kardashians do happen to have great heads of hair — who wouldn’t want to pick up a few of their products?

So, what will it take for average Janes and Joes to get tresses like Kourtney, Kim and Khloé? Just some branded hairspray, blow-dry cream, curl cream, Black Seed Dry Oil, dry shampoo and conditioner as well as mousse. All of these products, priced between $14 and $17, will be available once the line launches. Consumers also have three styling tools — a flatiron, a three-in-one-tool and a blowdryer at $89.99 each — to choose from. But buried in all the gritty details on how much the collection is expected to make and how excited Farouk Systems founder Farouk Shami is to be working with the Kardashians were a few haircare secrets dished out by the sisters themselves.

Contrary to what you might believe based solely on their overexposure, there are things we don’t know about the Kardashian sisters. And they were only too happy to dish these very crucial and pertinent tidbits to WWD. The highlights:

  • Kim regularly wears the most makeup out of the three sisters.
  • Kim went four months without hair or makeup products after North West was born.
  • Kim does not shampoo her hair every day. Her full regimen, in her own words: “I start out the first day with a clean blowout. The second day, I put in dry shampoo, which adds texture. Then, the third day, I sleek it and I straighten it, and then, the fourth day, I put our oil in it, and I make it a really sleek look. I might do a ponytail or a sleek bun. That’s my hair plan, and then I start over.”
  • Along with regular selfies, Kim also loves hair selfies.
  • Khloé only likes to take selfies if her hair is in her face.
  • Kourtney and Khloé both had awful haircuts when they were younger that made them look like little boys.
  • Kim slicks North’s hair back with a LOT of oil.

Honey, didn’t anyone tell you? You gotta let little Nori’s curls fly free!

Adriana Lima Wears Miu Miu on Vogue Brazil’s September Cover (Forum Buzz)

Adriana Lima has been tapped for the September 2014 cover of Vogue Brazil. The Brazilian beauty has been a regular fixture on the fashion bible this year. Steven Meisel shot Adriana for Vogue Italia’s June cover and Koray Birand photographed the bombshell for Vogue Turkey’s May issue. Ellen von Unwerth now captures Adriana drenched in a plastic coat by Miu Miu, while gazing down the German photographer’s lens.

Members of our forums have mixed reactions toward the cover. “I kind of love it! She doesn’t look real, it’s like a computer game character in an abstract painting or something. The styling is just totally weird and contributes to that odd effect. Definitely different and strange, but I think it’s fun. And wow, would never have guessed this was shot by Ellen! First collaboration between Adriana and her since the late 90s, is that correct?” commented Psylocke.

“I love the colors too and the hair/makeup. You can’t really miss this on the newsstand. I wouldn’t think it was shot by Ellen either if I didn’t already know. The clothes are questionable, but they do add to the shot,” declared vivaglam.

Andrea27 was torn: “Surely, it will be eye-catching on [the] newsstand, but to me [it] looks too plastic, which doesn’t have to be bad, but the attempt isn’t as good at it could be. On the other hand, she’s so pretty here!”

“She just doesn’t pull this look off, it doesn’t work and she’s been heavily retouched as well. Why do you take a beautiful supermodel like Adriana and do this???!” ranted an unsatisfied Bertrando3.

Another member not feeling the cover was gazebo, who posted, “I hate everything, so cheap, so not Vogue!”

See inside the thread for Adriana’s cover story as well as a shoot featuring Alessandra Ambrosio, which can be seen here. Don’t forget to join the discussion!

We can’t help but feel sorry for big-name designers because they are always victim to fast fashion copycats.
