Lara Stone is already the face of Tom Ford Beauty, so it makes sense that she would also front the ad campaign for Tom Ford’s “Violet Blonde” fragrance. As with anything that either Lara Stone or Tom Ford are involved in, the ad has a healthy infusion of raw sex appeal and sensuality.
Frws described the debut ad image as “one of my favorite ads of this season. I love the whole concept and Lara is a total bombshell!! Just wow.”
Cologne_rocks (appropriately enough) commented, “This is the best perfume ad I’ve seen in years.”
Northern Star was impressed at how the ad amplifies Lara’s strengths as a model. “Stunning and very sexy,” he wrote. “I’m liking what Tom Ford is doing with her, using her sensual appeal to great effect, as I’m getting bored with her minimalist pics for Calvin Klein and this is just the contrast needed. Also those violets are like an amazing plush pillow.”
Lara looked great in the beauty ads and she looks stunning here as well. I think at this point it may be safe to say the Lara Stone-Tom Ford combination can sell us on nearly anything.
