Charlize Theron attended the GQ Men of the Year Awards at the Royal Opera House in London wearing a top and pants from Roland Mouret's Fall 2011 collection. While the top portion of her ensemble was pretty enough, this look is the epitome of scroll down disaster. The pants are probably pajama-level comfortable, but they’re too widely cut to make anyone look good and do nothing for Charlize’s slender figure.
was so appalled by the pants she could barely form thoughts in full sentences. “I adore her but no… Love her hair and make up, love the top, but the pants are just… no,” she posted.
wrote, “I like the idea of the outfit, the colors blend nicely and it's a nice twist with the wide legged pants but the fabric seems too heavy and make the pants look like sweatpants instead.”
was actually a fan of the look and thought there was a hint of Old Hollywood glamour to it. “Always loved pants like that, a throwback to Lauren Bacall
. Gorgeous,” she posted.
Charlize’s good looks can only distract from so much, but as Boomer
pointed out, “She is one of the 1/10 of 1% of women who could still look beautiful in that 'get you thrown off of Project Runway
Does anyone else have an image of Michael Kors scrunching up his face and calling the pants hideous before daring Heidi Klum to wear them, or is that just me?
