Stella McCartney Favors Fresh Flowers and Natalia Vodianova for Spring 2012 (Forum Buzz)

Building on the theme she started in Fall 2011 with a black and white Natalia Vodianova photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott against a colored background of green topiaries, Stella McCartney is once again featuring Natalia in black and white for Spring 2012, only this time she’s surrounded by an abundance of flowers in bloom.

“Wow, truly great!” Kanna exclaimed. “Really love the floral background and how Natalia looks here. She's the model who exists for this kind of image—lovely, sensual, black and white... To me, this is the best Stella McCartney campaign Natalia has done thus far.”

MON wrote, “I love how [the ads are] bombarded with florals but still Natalia manages to stand out! Very beautiful indeed! Natalia is truly a Stella girl.”

For some, the clothes are really nothing to get excited about, so at least we have some pretty flowers to look at. “I like how they have the flowers make the images as messy and fussy as possible in an attempt to deflect from the awful clothes... and they almost pull it off,” Northern Star noted. “Nice try.”
