Karlie Kloss in Prada graces the cover of Vogue Australia’s March issue. Up against a dark blue background with tousled wet hair, Karlie looks like she may have just dipped into the ocean for a night swim before donning her midriff-baring ensemble.
“I love the cover,” wrote Australian forum member YourMonster. “It’s not what I was expecting, and it ticks all the right boxes for me. It looks cool, for me it retains a sort of laid-back attitude that sells brilliantly here in Australia but it still remains a sexy and stylish image.”
Kanna confessed that she may be slowly succumbing to Karlie’s charms. “To be honest, I still don't like Karlie's facial features and am not a fan of hers yet, but I guess I could be one,” she posted. “Anyhow, she's a hard-working, passionate and professional model who doesn't even need to be compared to models of her age these days. I have seen too many plain and blank models whose weapon is only the pretty face and stature, but she's not one of them. She's on a roll and does it once again here.”
Some forum members weren’t crazy about the cover and felt that it looked like a glorified backstage shot, but I love the way Karlie’s body commands the space. Like Kanna, I've lately become a bit enamoured with Karlie, so I was excited to see that she looks just as good, if not better, in the accompanying editorial inside.
Here’s a little bit of a sneak peak:
