Claire Boucher, AKA Grimes, recently released what Pitchfork calls “her compulsively listenable third album,” Visions (I’m currently semi-obsessed with her single “Genesis”) and now she’s landed the cover of Dazed & Confused’s April issue. Photographed by Hedi Slimane while decked out in some serious jewelry, Grimes’ cover is seriously eye-catching.
La bordélique was easily sold by the image: “Best cover in a long while! I LOVE Grimes! Buying.”
“I love that everything except her face is out of focus,” mikel commented.
Nepenthes described the cover as “simple, bold and powerful.”
Dazed & Confused may be seeing a boost in newsstand sales from tFS members alone this month.
