Crystal Renn covers the May 2012 issue of Vogue Mexico in a colorful Salvatore Ferragamo look that was photographed by Nagi Sakai. In the issue, Renn stars in a pin-up style editorial that features plenty of looks from Prada’s retro car-inspired Spring 2012 collection, of course.

“The cover is great. Lovely colors, pose, and styling,” wrote mikel. “Her editorial is nice too, but a bit too much Prada,” he added.

GERGIN went so far as to say that the editorial images “look like outtakes from the Prada Spring ad campaign,” and he’s got a point. They do look a bit too heavily inspired by the Prada collection and campaign.

Still, despite the Prada emulation, as alonsoJonathan pointed out, this is original content rather than a reprint, and the model looks beautiful, so we’ve got something to be grateful for.
