Forum members are falling for Rianne ten Haken among the churning waves on the cover of Vogue Netherlands’ July/August issue. This new publication is still finding its way, but it looks like it’s heading in the right direction. As I sit here boiling in pre-Summer Solstice heat, I’d like nothing more than to do like Rianne and plunge into the ocean, clothing and all. I’m not going to delude myself into thinking I’d look anywhere near as good as she does while doing it though.
IAmLordZen called the cover “STUNNING. I've NEVER been a fan of Rianne, but wow she looks amazing on this cover (all its vintage appeal taken into account). Vogue Netherlands really keeps getting better and better,” he decided.
“I love that Vogue Netherlands took a risk with this cover,” YoninahAliza posted. “It definitely looks different than the other editions of Vogue for the month of July/August.”
Mr-Dale, who is in the Netherlands and already has his hands on a copy of the magazine wrote, “Ahh yes! A cover by [photographers] Petrovsky & Ramone! And what a great cover for summer! The editorial is all about swimwear and washing up on the beach with strategically placed melons and pineapples. The double bra thing is in every shot. Sometimes it works, at others it doesn't. Overall, it's a good issue.”
It’s nice to see that Vogue Netherlands is improving month to month, and this is a great summer cover. I’m going to keep coming back to it as the temperatures rise higher and higher and hope that I can live vicariously through Rianne’s refreshing ocean dip.
