Kate Bosworth has made no secret of her passion for fashion. She is consistently well dressed in fashion-forward ensembles, collaborates on JewelMint with her friend and stylist Cher Coulter, and is a staple at fashion events and runway shows. The same sorts of things can be said about several starlets, but how many of them have done commentary with Derek Blasberg for a Theyskens’ Theory runway show? I’ll venture a guess that Kate is the first. Sure, it’s a bit gimmicky, but I would bet that more than a few Kate Bosworth fans have now watched the Theyskens’ Theory show stream just to see and hear a bit more from her.
Forum members were impressed by Kate’s commentary and her grasp on fashion and the Theyskens’ Theory collection in particular. “Wow! Kate is really very good at the whole interview/commentary thing,” wrote jalouse. “Good for her!” Jalouse also credits Kate for introducing her to under-the-radar brands. “I love Kate Bosworth's style and I'm so grateful to her,” she shared. “If it wasn't for Kate, I wouldn't be aware of Cushnie et Ochs. I'm so glad she went to their show during NYC fashion week and interviewed them for style.com. They're now my new favorite designers!!! Their clothes are stunning!”
“I agree she did good commenting on the runway show,” musicjunkie posted. “You can tell she really got the collection and explained Olivier's vision well.”
What do you think of Kate’s commentary? Cool and insightful, or completely unnecessary?
