Rihanna is a woman who cannot be stopped. She's Harper's Bazaar Arabia's cover girl and Jalouse has also opted to feature the singer this month. If you feel like you've seen the cover image somewhere before, you would be correct. Rihanna is clad in the look she wore to Givenchy's Fall 2015 show–the veiled snapback and colorblocked suit separates with sneakers–back in March. The image, shot by Stéphane Feugère, appears to have been taken backstage, or sometime before or after the show.
We did a little digging in our forums, and member French Delicacy has images from the entire spread. All the other shots are from Paris Fashion Week, so it appears Jalouse followed Rihanna around that week to produce this feature. We've got to hand it to them, it's a pretty genius way to go about a story. There are images of her looks from Balmain, Kenzo, Chanel and more. Other celebrities featured in the issue (like Lily McMenamy) were profiled with more traditional shoots, making Rih's spread extra special.
Personally, I think It's a cool cover, considering the circumstances, but the forum members? Eh, not so much:
"It's an alright cover, but I wish she had a normal cover, meaning normal hairstyle, not overdressed, without weird accessories," wrote Srdjan.
Can't please everyone, I guess.
