She's racking up quite the modeling portfolio and now Gigi Hadid can add a Tom Ford fragrance campaign to her ever-growing books. The American model fronts the designer's seductive new fragrance, Velvet Orchid. Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, Gigi is seen posing nude as she reclines across a purple foiled background.
It seems a sultry image for a fragrance campaign just isn't enough, as members of our forums weren't so pleased with the finished result. "Looks more like a CGI than a pic of a real person. And I don't think Gigi is the right model for this," commented woemwoem.
"WOW, that is not good!!" wrote an unimpressed justaguy.
Subtly acknowledging the amount of evident post-production, mikel added, "Is this the same man that photographed those classic nude images of Kate Moss for the Obsession by Calvin Klein campaign in the Nineties??? Oh how times have changed."
"The plastic background looks cheap and the bottle is lost in the corner. Nothing velvet about this. I love Gigi and Mario and Tom..how did this happen?" questioned zoom.
TeeVanity seemed optimistic, however, and wrote, "I like Gigi, but this really doesn't work, hope there's better images to come from this campaign."
