Vogue Italia is setting pulses racing and getting us in the mood for some dancing with its August 2014 cover. Steven Meisel photographed Isabeli Fontana and Timo Nuñez flamenco dancing and oozing an intense chemistry while in full character for the inspired shoot. The cover marks a first for the Brazilian model, who has never covered the Italian fashion bible before. Styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Isabeli works a Ralph Lauren Collection dress and wears a pair of black Manolo Blahnik shoes for the cover shot. The 31-year-old model, who is also currently fronting the August 2014 issue of Vogue Russia, just shot with the photographer for Pirelli’s 2015 calendar.
Our forum members are head-over-heels for the cover (which turns out to be a fold-out!). “Oh my goodness this is too glorious I can’t handle it,” wrote Flashbang.
“Such a beautiful cover. And to think this is Isabeli’s first ever Vogue Italia cover. So looking forward to seeing the main editorial,” enthused cottonmouth13.
TeeVanity is also feeling the cover and wrote, “Wow, this is what everything looks like. Isabeli delivered beyond, love this cover.”
“Incredible cover! I’m not really an Isabeli fan, but I have to give credit where it’s due and she is SLAYING that cover. And the editorial preview, too! Just amazing. Love the pose, love how she’s werking that fan, love the leg, love the intensity in her expression. The man looks damn hot, too! Can’t believe this is Isabeli’s first Vogue Italia cover. For a model with such a long and successful career, that really surprises me. But I can’t imagine a better looking first cover! Just wicked,” commented a very satisfied happycanadian.
CommanderTMugler shared the same sentiments: “Oh lord! Yes! This is beyond perfection! Everything one would want from Vogue Italia and Isabeli, just flawless! A very well deserved Vogue Italia cover and she delivered!!”
“Now that’s a cover! Isabeli looks so passionate and beautiful. Love everything about it!” raved Nepenthes.
