Already on the cover of one of LOVE‘s Fall 2014 issues, Kendall Jenner has scored yet another magazine cover. This time around, Teen Vogue tapped the reality star turned model for its September 2014 issue. The magazine released two covers, both photographed by Emma Summerton. On cover one, Kendall is seen wearing a monochrome Gucci dress with embellished shoulder detailing, while on the second, she wears an Emporio Armani jacket teamed with an eye-catching gray hat, also from the Italian fashion house.
Kendall is featured inside the magazine for a series of photos styled by Elin Svahn with the 18-year-old captured against a blue studio backdrop wearing a range of looks from Sportmax, Diesel, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Tommy Hilfiger Collection.
The thread is still in its early days, but the first few comments failed to show much promise. “Lol omg,” simply commented alonsoJonathan, who was clearly mocking Kendall’s presence in the magazine.
“Ugh when will it end . . .” wrote marsnoop2.
Handbag Queen soon replied, “Couldn’t be soon enough! Wish the entire family would disappear for good.”
Although not everyone seemed to be negative toward Kendall’s modeling career. “I wish people would look at her as a model, not just a family member. I think she looks gorgeous in both covers,” xsquared wrote.
Another member showing support was ellastica: “Not bad actually! That dove gray, misty blue background is a nice contrast to that rather obnoxious hot pink text. The flip-flopped images for the two covers is genius. I would’ve ran with that mirror-image effect and flipped the pink corner banner for the first cover to the left corner to sit on top of the ‘teen.’ I prefer the image on the right composition-wise: this wouldn’t be out of step as a UK VOGUE or even US VOGUE cover imo. I would’ve tilted the head/hat for more stylistic/graphic pizzaz to create better eye flow but I’m actually digging this cover!”
