After being made Contributing Fashion Editor of UK Vogue, Kate Moss is now onto her third shoot for the British monthly, which can be found inside the September 2014 issue. Kate cast Lara Stone for a story entitled “The Wolf In Her” that focuses on the idea of a wild fantasy fairy tale. Kate obviously knew what she was getting when casting the Dutch model, due to the fact that the duo have worked together before on various other shoots (although with both of them in front of the lens). Kate has previously enlisted Daria Werbowy and Freja Beha Erichsen for her Vogue styling stories.
Shot by Mario Sorrenti, Lara can be found amongst an overgrown woodland area or hiding out inside a room filled with decorative medieval fabrics. Kate styled Lara showcasing a number of ensembles from Alberta Ferretti, Dries Van Noten, Emilio Pucci and Versace. Although what really seems to make the images come alive are the wolves, which join Lara and pose cooperatively by her side for the majority of the photos.
Forum members like Kite were quick to point out the editorial inside the thread: “The best one is the Kate Moss styled Lara Stone ed, purely for the fact she isn’t a ‘Rocker Girl.'”
“Lara’s Ed is so adorable. The best thing in this issue,” complimented JoCaderone.
Nepenthes also shared his enthusiasm: “Mario, Kate and Lara were an absolute dream team. Best part of the issue!”
As does GlamVal, who wrote, “OMG give me a heart attack. My God I can not understand why Lara is not on the cover. The editorial is amazing, everything is perfect. This is the only good thing about this issue.”
