Prepare yourselves for some serious 70s-inspired fashion stories this upcoming season. Georgia May Jagger has landed the cover of Vogue Thailand’s last issue of 2014 wearing an outfit designed by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy and looks as though she’s part of Swedish pop group ABBA in the process. Shot by Marcin Tyszka in the studio, Georgia also posed for a series of images to accompany the cover shoot, styled by Yann Weber.
Although the cover doesn’t seem to be sitting well with our forum members. “It’s a little too busy with all the text, the prints and the color of the font. I think she actually looks good here. But it’s so predictable at this point to see her come with a line ‘rock royalty.’ Can’t they come up with a new theme for her. Or this will be the only theme she can model,” ranted TaylorBinque.
“Looks very depressing. The styling looks very excessive, I cannot even see her shape,” noted Benn98.
Also not feeling it was Nymphaea, who commented, “Not good, she almost looks pregnant and not enjoying it.”
“A close-up would have been better even but with another face expression LOL,” exclaimed Oxymore.
Forum member fashionlover2001 shared everyone’s sentiments and simply informed us that he’s “not feeling this cover.”
Await Georgia’s cover story inside the thread, but in the meantime, tell us what you think here.
