Who says February covers have to be light and airy? Vogue Ukraine gives us something different for its latest issue and we admire the mag for it. Photographed by Arcin Sagdic, Nadja Auermann (who was just on the cover of Vogue Germany) poses in a dark environment wearing a black swimsuit with some red and pink lights overhead, making for an intriguing cover image. We’re loving Nadja’s hair styled into a shoulder-length blunt cut with a sweep of fringe — so 90s!
Forum members were quick to voice their opinions once the cover surfaced. “I really like it, something about it feels very Vogue Italia! Always a pleasure to see Nadja!” enthused Nepenthes.
In agreement was khyrk, who wrote, “Wow amazing! Now this is how Vogue Russia should be looking like.”
“I love it! Surprisingly so! That cover has a bit of an edge to it. I’m digging it!” fashionlover2001 complimented.
But not everyone was feeling it. “How can magazines manage to mess up covers when they have amazing models to work with? This cover is just awful! My excitement after seeing the thread title is completely gone… I am annoyed!” ranted KissMiss.
“What’s going on with her legs?” questioned inwhiterooms.
An overall positive response for Vogue Ukraine this month! Should the other editions of Vogue be taking note? Share your opinion inside the thread here.
