Check Out Dakota Johnson on Vogue’s February Cover (Forum Buzz)

What do our forum members think of Dakota’s first Vogue cover? “Boring, this cover is more appropriate of Teen Vogue or Seventeen,” said burbuja8910 within moments of the thread being active.

“Dull brown cover. And I want to see more of the clothes. You could almost use this as a passport photo,” added Nymphaea.

HeatherAnne was far from impressed: “It seems like they were going for a Jessica Miller type vibe with her, but it falls flat. I know we all say this every month, but seriously a million other more deserving women than Johnson… but Wintour loves the rich white girls from prominent families, so I’m not shocked.”

Is the cover shot too boring? Forum member t-rex suggested something to liven up the shot: “The straight hair is bad – looks like extensions. I wish Dakota was smiling, she has a really warm, glowing smile.”

“Oh, no.. It’s the worst cover [of] US Vogue I have ever seen,” declared narcyza.

“I don’t even have an opinion on this… It’s as bland as it gets. This magazine has been dead for years,” Creative responded.

Could this be the most boring and generic cover of Vogue yet? Check out Dakota’s cover story alongside the content of the issue inside the thread here.
