Our forum members made it clear that the Spanish edition of Harper’s Bazaar had become a bore. Now, after a new team was introduced to the title earlier this year, the first covers are out and are a huge success. Mariacarla Boscono stars on not one, but two covers for the magazine’s big March 2015 issue, giving us some fierce realness on both. We’re captivated by the cover with the red masthead (pictured below right), which we assume is for subscribers. The Italian stunner was photographed by Txema Yeste for the occasion and we’re loving it!
Forum members were quick to voice their views once they digested the covers. “Really really like the second one even if it reminds me of Vanessa Paradis for Vogue Paris,” posted Oxymore, making a comparison to a previous magazine cover.
“Love the second cover, way more striking. The first looks like a preview cover, and probably closer to the old Spanish Bazaar,” Benn98 responded.
Also showing some love was kokobombon: “I think that the covers are lovely, love the styling in both of them.”
Nepenthes shared the same sentiments: “Both covers are stunning. Mariacarla always has a very intense, magnetic presence!”
“Harper’s Bazaar Spain is back!! So happy to see this magazine back on track. I’m personally not a huge fan of Mariacarla, but she looks quite electric here,” proclaimed marsnoop2.
The issue is sure to fly from the shelves. “They should have done just one cover. The second one is pretty good. Happy to see Eugenia as the editor in chief. She’s just great,” Creative credited.
