Give us the right cover girl and we’re on board. Vogue Portugal manages to overwhelm our forum members this time around, tapping Jacquetta Wheeler as its April 2015 cover star. Photographed on location playing the role of a journalist, Jacquetta sports military-inspired pieces, from suede shirts and pants to camouflage jackets. The British beauty, who was dubbed “Model of the Millennium,” was shot by Frederico Martins and our forum members are head over heels over the outcome.
“What a lovely surprise to see Jacquetta, I did not see that coming,” raved KateTheGreatest within seconds of the cover surfacing on our forums, kicking off the discussion on a high note.
“Lovely to see Jacquetta and she looks really good,” gazebo admired moments after.
Also full of praise was marsnoop2, who was quick to share, “Original content, I love it!! Yay, Vogue Portugal!”
“Vogue Portugal is that you?” Oxymore questioned, in shock that the magazine had produced such a fantastic cover.
MON shared the same sentiments: “It makes me happy seeing this! Look how far they’ve come from their reprint covers with horrendous layouts! It’s not a fantastic cover but it’s definitely not a bad one. We’ve all seen worse.”
We’ve been lucky enough to be treated to the cover story, too! “Vogue Portugal is getting better and better. I like her ed and also the cover. The sixth shot would also make a beautiful cover for Vogue Portugal,” suggested fluxxx.
