We first assumed this particular shoot was meant for Vogue as discussion aroused inside our Cover Rumor Thread, but it turns out Sofia Vergara‘s shoot with Annie Leibovitz was for Vanity Fair — we should’ve known! Earlier today, the magazine dropped its May 2015 cover and to our excitement, the cover is stunning. Sofia is pictured looking as glamorous as ever wearing a sexy silk dress complemented by a white fur stole, while her luscious brunette locks cascade down one side of her bare shoulders. Not to mention how appreciative we are of the fact that Vanity Fair provided someone who’s alive and breathing on the cover.
Our forum members were quick to react. “I’m so Happy for her, She is Beauuuuuutiful,” exclaimed GlamVal, about to set the tone of more comments to come.
“Sofia is PERCHED! I love this! She looks good! Surprised she’s not on the cover of more magazines,” added Khabeer.
In agreement was MON: “What a fantastic cover! It’s sultry, seductive, sexy, and glamorous! This would have made a superb Vogue cover. Finally Annie got it right! I’m really happy that she’s getting the attention and recognition she deserves. Fabulous!”
Also showing much enthusiasm was RanThe, who declared, “I’m loving this cover. Sofia looks amazing and like herself. Because everyone knows Annie loves that Photoshop.”
“I like it, I like the cover, but some details are very bad, with respect to the Photoshop,” commented testinofan, suggesting extra airbrushing was necessary.
MON disagreed and fired back, “I love the fact that they kept those natural details of hers! Finally a magazine acknowledging the idea that it’s okay to have those flaws because either way, it doesn’t define your beauty. Those minor details do not take away the fact that she’s beautiful and it’s a beautiful cover.”
