Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell are a supermodel match made in heaven, but unfortunately, Prestige Hong Kong failed to capture the duo in their best light. Back in March during the first-ever Asian amfAR fundraising gala, Prestige snatched the opportunity to tap Kate and Naomi for an impromptu shoot to coincide with the release of its April 2015 issue. Although we can’t quite understand why the mag, which launched in September 2005, delivered such a bad outcome. Naomi is pictured doing a modeling 101 pose wearing a glitzy Marc Jacobs number (the same dress she wore attending the event), while Kate sports a plain white T-shirt designed exclusively by Jacobs.
The publication didn’t receive much praise as the double covers found themselves being the latest topic of discussion in our forums. “High-class models and cheap layout. Irony,” expressed phungnam96 almost immediately.
“The amount of Photoshop on Kate isn’t even funny, she looks awful. Her eyes and the shape of her face is ugly. Naomi’s face seems to have been Photoshopped onto her body. Who approved this, come on?!” Bertrando3 questioned in anger.
In agreement was Benn98: “I’m with you. Both look atrocious, the covers I mean. Poor Kate, just look at her eyes. And the layout looks so amateur. I think it’s time these two demand photo approval.”
“These look like mall catalogs. I don’t get how you can botch such amazing women…” noted a stunned and underwhelmed orchidee.
Nomar only echoed everyone’s negative attitude, proclaiming, “Such boring covers.”
