We always depended on Numéro for fetching, innovative covers, but then its standards started to slip a while ago. The French title is making a comeback, though, with its captivating cover for May 2015. Mariacarla Boscono bored us to tears fronting the mag’s April edition, but Aya Jones thankfully brings the fire on Numéro‘s latest. Photographed by Daniel Sannwald, the French-Jamaican beauty turned up the heat modeling a white number from Louis Vuitton.
One particular element has disappointed our forum members, however. “The flame backdrop looks so stupid,” noted Marc10.
“Fire background? Really? This is so cheesy, come on,” exclaimed sore soon after.
Forum member mistress_f felt the same way and echoed, “The fire background looks terribly cheap. I’m willing to hope that it was intentionally bad, but I don’t like it one bit. She looks great though.”
In agreement was gossiping. “It looks computer generated, I hate that. Background is hideous,” she declared.
“I love this, it shows her range as a model. My only complaint is the shadow on the cheekbones, it’s a bit too heavy,” TREVOFASHIONISTO acknowledged.
As the discussion started to turn around, LagerfeldBoy credited, “This definitely shows her range. When I think sweet, lovely, and pretty, Aya comes to mind. I’ve never found her to be quite sexy but this is definitely showing her versatility. The image is giving me Naomi teas with the bangs, tbh.”
“She looks so smoking hot,” voiced mikose.
