Your local newsstand is set to be model central as yet another British publication hands its August cover to a model instead of another overused celebrity. Lily Donaldson graces the cover of U.K. ELLE‘s recent offering, modeling a fabulous pink Prada number. Captured by Kai Z Feng and styled by fashion director Anne Marie Curtis, we’re getting flashbacks of Lily’s ethereal British Vogue cover from back in March 2009.
“Glad to see a supermodel on a major cover. Looks very ELLE, they play it safe but the outcome is great. I’ve bought a few British ELLE‘s this year, I will get this one too,” enthused Srdjan, getting us off to a healthy start.
“Colors just blend beautifully and Lily sure does look stunning here,” raved justaguy.
Also showing great enthusiasm toward the cover was MON: “Perfect!! Perfect! She looks like a goddess! Oh my goodness.”
“Despite the fact that I don’t like her personally this is a great cover,” admitted gossiping as things began to turn a little sour.
Oxymore certainly wasn’t a fan, ranting, “The face she’s making! She’s just staring at the camera with no emotion at all. She looks dead but I like the colors. Lily is doing that face every time it’s really annoying.”
Sharing the same sentiments was marsnoop2. “She always just looks like a pretty doll, I’ll never understand her success,” she declared.
