Only Lara Stone Could Pull off the Makeup in Kurt Geiger’s Fall Campaign (Forum Buzz)

If there’s one thing we learn when the advertising campaigns roll out, it’s that not only Prada, Gucci and Louis Vuitton can knock out show-stopping imagery. Kurt Geiger‘s Fall 2015 campaign is proof that lesser-known brands are high contenders, especially when tapping the likes of Lara Stone, who works the lens of Erik Torstensson like there’s no tomorrow. U.K. Vogue‘s August cover girl appears as though she just stepped off the set of a Robert Palmer music video back in the 80s, sporting a dramatic makeup look complemented by a platinum shade of blonde, which works beautifully with the dark atmosphere.

The campaign was an instant hit. “Love this! Has that harsh 70s makeup and lighting look to it,” described justaguy.

“Wow, she looks very harsh and fierce in these shots! Somehow it actually works,” Benn98 confessed.

In agreement over how fabulous the images are was perhydrol: “I usually don’t like Lara, but she looks really hot here and it’s not fake. Her look sells those accessories, everything is eye-catching and I like this direction for the brand because it works. Just fabulous.”

Forum member simon showed the campaign some love too, admitting, “Lara looks incredible.”

“That makeup is all sorts of wrong (the angle of the contour is just wrong) but somehow, in a very weird way, Lara pulled it off. She looks hot,” declared MON.
