The simple, effortless and conservative styling of Vogue Germany‘s September cover got them nowhere, but for October 2015, the magazine turns it around and brings us plenty of drama. Luigi and Iango shot Australian beauty and current face of Christian Dior, Julia Nobis, wearing a black lace top from Valentino and she has never looked better.
“October is amazing so far!” raved Oxymore the moment the cover surfaced, with justaguy echoing, “So far October covers have surpassed September! This is another great cover and Julia looks absolutely stunning here. Love the coloring and styling!!”
Aizanara agreed: “What’s up with all these October issues that are better than the September ones? Julia is one of all-time faves so I’m extremely excited to see her. Nobis never disappoints in print.”
“I love it, finally a Vogue Germany cover I like, even if their layout has seen better days,” warranted dcmaike the moment the cover struck.
Sharing the same sentiments was Benn98: “Speechless!! That is Julia Nobis? Christ and stripes. I’ve never seen her this feminine and romantic, she always looks so washed-out and vacant. Of course they could do well without that art direction, but it’s still a beautiful shot.”
“Luigi & Iango are the new Mert [Alas] & Marcus [Piggott], the use of color, the poses, everything is perfect!” complimented madzedre.
Forum member bridgettetson was full of praise too: “Truly Awesome Cover of Julia. Luigi & Iango nailed again. She never looked better than this!”
