We’re usually defiant when it comes to celebrities fronting our favorite fashion titles. Although it has been a while since Lui magazine gave us an actress on its cover, so this month we welcome Monica Bellucci with open arms on the magazine’s November 2015 edition. Shot by famed British portrait photographer Rankin, the Spectre actress embodies a typical Bond Girl to perfection in the seductive shoot wearing a daring black lace Maison Margiela dress on the cover, leaving us head over heels and wanting even more!
Forum members erupted with excitement. “Love it, they didn’t shop the life out of her! It actually resembles what she really looks like. The overall image looks a bit like a film poster, especially with that ‘007.’ Interested to see how much she’ll strip in her edit,” anticipated an eager Benn98.
“Very dark, but I love it, what a woman! PS: Refreshing to see a cover star who is over 50, and STILL chosen by this magazine to celebrate her sexuality,” applauded Miss Dalloway.
Also full of admiration was justaguy, raving, “Cool cover and nicely done with all the black and outlined lettering.”
But not everyone was so enthusiastic. “Why is she in this tacky as hell magazine?” asked a mortified mepps.
“This magazine is better than Vogue Paris or U.K. Vogue,” fired back a defensive GIVENCHYlover.
Like the cover or not, Monica’s cover story sure is a must-see. Check it out and drop us a comment here.
