After last season’s delightful campaign, we welcome back Carolyn Murphy with open arms for Oscar de la Renta‘s Spring 2016 ads. Shot in New York by David Sims (also a return engagement), the long-serving Estée Lauder ambassador embodies elegance and sophistication to perfection.
You’d best believe our forums were head over heels. “A timeless beauty in a campaign is always an A+ for me,” declared DutchHomme the moment the campaign struck.
“Hauntingly beautiful and romantic! David Sims is turning out some stellar campaigns this season. This image looks like something from yesteryear,” added Benn98.
Also equally as impressed with the outcome was Nymphaea: “Lovely, soft and chic, glad they are continuing on this road, so beautiful.”
“Classic, so stunning. Really just beautiful imagery, I think Peter [Copping] is really doing a fantastic job at Oscar!” applauded marsnoop2.
“Wow. I’m speechless. You can really feel Oscar in this. It’s very emotional,” expressed gazebo.
“Contender for best of season. Simple, elegant, refined, beautiful. Oscar would approve!” announced a very satisfied zoom.
Moofins most definitely approved: “I’m just thankful that a campaign marketed to sophisticated women is actually starring an adult woman. It feels like a novelty, but it really shouldn’t be. I loved their campaign last season and this looks like a fantastic campaign as well.”
“I feel like this should be in the dictionary next to the word ‘elegance.’ Truly stunning, Carolyn is one of the greats!” Nepenthes echoed in agreement.
