If you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past couple seasons, then you may not realize that Natalia Vodianova rules the roost at Stella McCartney when it comes to advertising campaigns. But after having fronted multiple campaigns solo, the Russian beauty is joined by Mariacarla Boscono for Spring 2016, who makes for a welcome addition to the casting. Harley Weir remains McCartney’s photographer of choice, photographing both modeling heavyweights lounging around, striking some intriguing poses in what could be this season’s most appropriate campaign.
Everyone fell in love. “If I’m not wrong that’s Natalia’s ninth campaign for the brand!” congratulated nastassia when the ads surfaced.
“Absolutely beautiful. I’m so happy to see models over their 30s who’ve managed to stay relevant in such a fast information era,” pointed out thiago:), voicing his praise.
Also full of admiration was Royal-Galliano: “WOW. This is really cool and made my jaw drop even. Seriously, even with seasoned veterans like Natalia and Mariacarla, you can make it fresh!”
Wolkfolk shared the same sentiments, applauding, “Such a beautiful shot. Love the colors and the composition, they both look gorgeous.”
“Interesting how Stella McCartney manages to showcase a new side of Natalia season after season,” Benn98 commented in amazement.
“Perfect combination,” raved kewkaw, loving the casting shake-up this season.
In the same positive frame of mind was HeatherAnne: “Early 90s high-street store (Benetton/Gap) vibes and that’s actually not an insult, I really like this, it’s eye-catching and mellow.”
