Anja Rubik Works a Tuxedo Jacket (and Little Else) on Harper’s Bazaar Germany’s Holiday Cover (Forum Buzz)

The German edition of Harper’s Bazaar has been killing it lately. The title received a round of applause in our forums last month with a striking Joan Smalls cover and the success continues with the December/January offering featuring Polish beauty Anja Rubik. Our forums sure do love a good model cover and German Bazaar delivers just that for its double holiday edition. Captured by Terry Tsiolis, the Saint Laurent favorite works a black velvet Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo jacket (and very little else) in the effortless cover image.

Members of our forums immediately liked what they saw. “First Joan and now Anja, Harper’s Bazaar Germany’s on a total roll and I’m loving this. I’ve seen a few people’s Instagram posts earlier today and thought the cover looked terrific and immediately had me excited to see more. Anja looks fantastic as per usual and I love how simple, direct and clean the cover is,” vogue28 stated.

“Great cover, nice styling: clean and to the point,” Nymphaea described.

In agreement over how terrific the cover turned out was Emmanuelle, echoing, “The cover is cool, love the attitude and the jacket!”

Narcyza felt the same way, commenting, “Perfection. Anja is always a good choice for a cover!”

“She is so wonderful,” said dsamg, complimenting Anja on her modelling skills.

Also quick to show his approval was Tony Fersen. “Oh yes, I love the layout and of course Anja Rubik is a great model. Harper’s Bazaar Spain is doing very well with their covers and if the German edition brings as much creativity, that would be great!” he enthused in delight.

“Great cover but I’m not too sure about Anja’s expression,” pointed out sixtdaily.

“Her expression looks lifeless,” echoed Simera.
